The next meeting will be at the home and gardens of Doug Tryck of Tryck Nursery at 3625 Rabbit Creek Road.  If you take Rabbit Creek Road up from the Seward Highway it will be approximately one mile up the hill on the left side of the road just past the church.  There is a small sign posted for Tryck Nursery.  Doug is in the process of reorganizing his gardens and they may not be up to their usual standards, but there is still a great deal to see.  It will also be of interest in future years to see how things evolve.  The gardens are mostly on the side of a hill so you will want to wear sensible shoes.  You should also be prepared for the usual Alaskan weather and flying pests associated with this time of year.  The meeting will begin at 6:00 PM.  Doug requests that children and pets not be brought to the gardens.  He also suggests bringing a chair to sit around his fire pit after the tour.  Please note that the meeting begins earlier than usual.
